After nearly punching out a headlight and dropping chunks of snow on the hood I decided it was time to fix the bucket. After looking around here I found some great pics and info from 4shorts thread http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/customization/130266-bucket-mod.html Thanks 4shorts!!!
Materials list...
2- 16" pcs of 1/4"x3" flat stock
5' of 2.5" sch 40 black pipe
8"x 5' #9 expanded mesh
5'- 1" angle iron
JD paint
Rounded the top edge of the flat stock to match the pipe. Notch the angle iron to clear the bucket hitch and weld it to the flat bar. Cut and notch the expanded and weld it all together. I was going to bolt it to the bucket but figured it would end up there permanently anyway I just burned it onto the bucket for good. Shoot some paint and good to go. The mesh makes it easier to see what's in front of you vs Paul's full panel.
