I think some guys don't get it. Many have been around equipment and danger for a long time or their whole lives. They are just trying to convey the possibility of danger to people who may be new to this. Not trying to rain on anyones parade. Some people also have a natural sense of forces and loads. Others are clueless. Sometimes the best of the best misjudge and have bad accidents. It's all just about trying to understand what you are doing and being SAFE!

Back in the 60's, I had a trigonometry teacher that had a saying that has stuck with me, "experience is the best teacher if it doesn't kill you first".

He quit teaching to go and fly fighter jets for our Navy!

Regarding safety, my 3 owners manuals for my 2009 GC2410TLB begin with each manual having SAFETY pages 1-18, 1-12, and 1-12 and include over 20 safety sign decals attached to the TLB.

I could only guess that the newer 2019 TLB's might have over twice the amount of pages regarding safety.

Fitting that your fork hooks looks like a Grim Reaper's scythe. Be careful, man.

Was a JD old Style Bale Grapple, I fitted to a HORST fork carrier. GREAT for gathering up and compacting hand bombed brush. Always in the way for fork use, especially with limited head room.

PS, Chain on FORK, VERY, VERY, VERY BAD IDEA! We had been on a many days long road trip to get that chipper. Must have been out of my mind! Nothing was being moved though, just raised, trailer removed and lowered.

A few more stickers and they wouldn't even need to bother with paint.... or at least the color wouldn't matter.

How Festive looking. The cords aren't hideous enough. Maybe back to candles.

Actually there is. You can paint it clear. It will brighten up the colored paint and will not hurt your stickers. Just paint over the with the clear. Crystal krylon or some such.
