Bucket ID

I found this bucket half way buried in the creek on the back side of my property. It looks to be a bucket for a FEL old style tractor ?
I don't see any tags, number stamps or anything on it? I dragged it out with a tow chain early spring and cleaned the muck off of it, Just using it as a lawn ornament, did have some rotted wagon wheels but they fell apart and got trashed.

Father-in-law had a trip bucket kinda like that on his old Farmall H.

This bucket has 3 pt hookup. A FEL bucket wouldnt.

Sometimes called a 'pond scoop'

Goes on the back on 3pt hitch, you adjust the angle of attack with the top link to peel dirt into it, then it has a rope attached to the trip lever you can pull from the seat of the tractor to empty without getting off the tractor, and make another run.

If you ever notice old photos of roads being built by horse/mule teams, this is one of the items they used to make road beds....kind of a tiny version of today's huge scraper pan machines

Learn something new every day. I thought it was odd looking, has a bar on it like a hand lever . That got bent as I dragged it across the field to the entry by our bridge. Mybe Ill get out there one day and wire brush it and maybe throw some paint on it, or just leave it as it is?

It almost looks useable. You can still buy new ones i think. Dad has one in the barn, he moved a lot of dirt with it.

it is in good shape apparently, nothing broke.
