This guy used a piece of pipe on the edge of his bucket to skim the surface
and not dig up his driveway

Pretty cool and it also saves grinding damage to the edge of the bucket.

I tried the pipe routine and failed ...... Then I went with a snow edge with no regrets. This year is the fifth season and the wear edge isn't near half worn yet.

Are we talking about 2 different goals?
The pipe is to not dig - plow up a gravel driveway.
Sarg's rig appears to be a "soft edge" to not scratch an asphalt, concrete or brick/paver driveway. 👍

I see were someone else has used a PVC pipe
inplace of the metal pipe

These would keep your bucket from digging in

I did some wingy things for a bucket and a blower in the past. Worked OK but gave them up after mounting an 8' power angle blade on the L4240.

Saw a couple clips on YouTube. No experience with them. They put the blade pretty far out in front.
