Sort of baffled here, have a lower pivot pin on FEL that wont take grease, have had pivot pin out, and zerk is good, channel through pin is good (clear), exit port in chanel/pin is good (clear) but won't take grease.... Seems that the eye on loader frame is hard pressed against the pin and effectively forms a "seal" on grease port of pin.... Sort of thinking of taking Dremel tool and putting small groove around pin so grease has channel to go around pin like in image below...

Anybody have different idea/solution....

If it's possible to get the hole the zerk goes in straight up, clean out hole, then fill with a liquid penetrate of any kind. Put zerk back in and try to pump grease in. A good gun should have at least 10K psi and that should be enough to force the liquid through and the grease will follow.

If it's at a 90º angle, remove zerk, clean hole then make a half dam with grease, fill with penetrate, replace zerk and try to pump grease. I've had a 99% success rate using this method.

Pin channels are clean and open, grease flows fine with pin out of FEL....

And my hand grease gun will only go to 3000psi...

Try the penetrate, if it won't take grease, cut the groove.

Can you drill the cross hole all the way through If pin isn’t too hard? This allows for load on one side creating grease clearance on the other. Groove does similar thing.

I have one zerk that WILL NOT take grease while the FEL/grapple is in the resting position. It's a PITA. I start the tractor - raise the FEL slightly - rotate the grapple slightly - Whala - the zerk works fine now.

BINGO.... Changed angle of bucket to loader arm and it takes grease......

I bought a HF zerk clearing tool. You load it with ATF and hit it with a hammer to break through any solid grease packed fitting. My help somebody reading this that has a similar unrelated problem with a frozen zerk.

I have to do the same thing on mine

You aren't hurting anything by cutting a lengthwise groove the same dimensions as the circular groove already there. I'd do it in a heart beat and then work the bucket to maxes and install more grease till you have had at least 2-3 of good pumps in there. Expect it to squirt out the ends which is usually my stopping point but for you I'd disregard it, getting a good layer of grease around the interface.

I had a 310G Deere loader pin that I took out and cleaned. I greased the length of ot by hand and put back. It still wouldn't take grease. Not my backhoe, but before this, it had not had grease in a long time.

Have you taken the pin out and cleaned the pin and opening then replace pin and see if you can grease??
Also see if zerk is ok pump some grease in it

Sorry, but what is ATF? Automatic transmission fluid...? I've tried this procedure with penetrating oil to no avail.
