The triangle is still there. this puts the triangle directly above the end of the rail, in the proper place.

Still there but going the wrong direction to stop side movement of the rails. The rails can't move lengthwise because of the vertical parts mounted to the door frame.

Draw us a picture of your method please. Must be something I'm not understanding about your way of doing it.

This builder deserves what he is getting , and justly so . Iwonder if he had any idea ? No excuse for the poor work of late . That is why this guy has 15 projects rolling at a time . Cash flow .Anyway the yard looks great , that's my favorite part .

"Paint" the basement floor with two-part solvent based epoxy and dazzle yourself. I think I did a thread on my barn floor but there are a number of my posts on it. No cement dust, no stains, brightens the floor and easy to mop. Just my two cents.

Ron, appreciate the advice on the HVAC system. That Nest thermostat actually allows me to set a password so that nobody can make any changes. I did not do that this morning, but will do to this afternoon. No registers installed yet, but I picked them up today, and will slip each in a plastic bad and drop them in to prevent dust from settling in the ducts. Of course it might be too late by the time I get home, but maybe they did not get around to sanding today.

Took the drawbar back to tsc, and they took it back no problem. Old timer behind me in line asked what I did as he had never seen one do that before. I told him I pulling some old cement blocks out of the ground. Stopped by the Deere dealer on the way back, but all he had was a skinny Cat 1 drawbar and he was trying to sell me with a pair of bushings to make it fit my Cat 2 hitch. I told him no thanks.

That's what I did in my shop. Looks really good. If only I had the guy that poured mom's floor do my shop floor 10 years ago...

Probably a bad description. I'll post a pic later.

Peter,
I was thinking you had one of those upside down T- 3 pt attachments with a ball receiver at the bottom and maybe a ball on top for moving your trailer?
I recall a Deere with a busted back of cab window from a runaway trailer that I was thinking belonged to you?

You might have bent one of those things up good too, had your tried your chain on it to lift the dumpster, but maybe not. Square tubing with a decent wall thickness
can be stronger than a solid bar of steel, in some cases.

Lol, yes that was me Ron. I thought about using that upside down T attachment, but it is only rated for 2000 lbs, and is a CountyLine special also from tsc. It also cost about 3 times as much as the drawbar, so I didn't want to chance it. I'll look around for a stronger draw bar for next time I need something like that. I'll also be sure to use the "U" next time.

Peter,
Why shop around for a different drawbar? I think for what you used the one from TSC for would show that its really a good bar. I am a true fan of making due with the tools on hand some break some don't, but again a screwdriver is not a pry-bar so i can't blame it if it fails. Just my 2 cents.

I really don't know much about lifting massive weights with farm tractors, but wouldn't something like this work better than a drawbar?
