I count 13 on each side, but the one on the right has a little mound of dirt between it and the camera which mostly obscures it. I put a dot on each course below and got 13 on each side:

The left column is actually only 4" taller than the right one, even though it doesn't look like it in the picture. The cap block is going to be cut so that they are level and at the exact same height by the time they are done. Yes, both have 13 courses right now. Rock guy is finally back today, and plans to work throughout the weekend.

Had mom come over and take a look at things this morning. She agrees the laundry sink is way small, but as long as a utility is put in the basement, she's ok with leaving things the way they are. She just wants to get things wrapped up at this point. She, like myself, is not please that 3 hole drop-ins were ordered for the bathrooms. It looks like the trim piece will just barely cover the outer holes, but keeping things clean will be more of a chore vs. a single hole. Again, we'll likely accept it and move on. While single hole drop-in sinks are certainly available, they require a slightly different cut-out hole than the current 3 hole one.

I recall you mentioning the right column need to be higher a couple weeks ago.
Nice job on getting a level photo. The house roof was only off 0.5 degree. I adjusted that but no other distortion corrections were needed.
You might want to check the distance from the soffit down to the concrete wall tops of the block walls on both sides of the garage.
It may be the picture angle, but with everything else lining up it looks like the wall to hide the generator is short compared to the other side of the garage.?

Peter, I'm sorry to hear that it's come to this....accepting something less than you wanted and will pay for, but I TOTALLY understand you and your Mom's desire to get the house finished and move in. Unfortunately, I think builders (and certainly divorce lawyers) use the delay tactic to get people to just give in. It sucks, but you can always make everything as you want it after you're done with the builder. Just remember all this at the final draw. (I really like that one hole faucet!).

Can you get undermount sinks in the size you want? Then they could just bore one hole for the single hole faucet. Rick

They make plenty of drop in single hole sinks. Here's one they carry at Lowe's:

The problem is not the availability of single hole sinks, but the lack of attention to detail on the part of the builder from having way too many projects going at once.

We'll let them complete things plumbing wise with the materials at hand so that we can get the final inspection done and the resulting occupancy permit, and then work with the builder after the fact to get these issues corrected, BEFORE the final payment is made.

Call me cheap or call me tasteless, but why do you need a granite counter-top in the mud room? I know, I know. . . like the others in the house, but isn't that form over function? With the money saved on the counter-top, maybe they could afford a trim person who doesn't make an eyesore right beside your front door entrance. Of course, I'm also surprised that they are caulking an outside deck handrail and not concentrating on inside trim finish.

Peter, the yard is looking great. Your steps have given me a whole new idea for steps near my garden and also around one of my ponds. The 6x6 boxed steps are terrific.
