Sorry guys. Super busy summer and a much needed break from almost everything internet, social media, and news related. To be honest I haven't missed any of it. Kansas City added a new professional women's soccer team and we were fortunate to pick up the pyro contract on that. Weddings have been busy as well. We have 3 this week at the venue. And yes I did start and finish a new project. Solar for the house.I think JK has started a new project. I wonder what he’s getting into this time.
As far as the pond I don't have a lot of good news. After that initial big fill we lost quite a bit of water. My neighbor also decided for some reason to terrace his pasture that I relied on and has diverted most of his runoff around me. On the plus side the pond seems to be holding now and is slowly inching back up and holding as it does. After loosing almost 3 feet I'm close to where it was with that big rain we recieved in the spring. I think my problem area was the ravine that I didn't touch. Probably going to have to bring some clay into the bottom of it and also open up some surrounding timber to get some plant growth on the ground and improve runoff if I want it to fill completely. At the moment the wildlife are fond of it. Deer, turkey, raccoons, and even a few wood ducks.
