Just enough rain last night to make things sloppy. With the ground wet you can make out the walk paths and see the pond edge much better now. It's going to take a lot of water to fill.

When it's full, you might have a couple of hindsight 20/20 "what ifs", but I think you'll be happy with the overall outcome.

I did not read all 75 pages but you should plan on starting aerating the pond as soon as its full. It helps the fish, cleans up the muck, circulates the water etc.

Need to do the same with water, and then a year from now with grass growing all around the water.
