Bush Hog UTV's

Anyone got a Bush hog UTV? I seen a 2007 TH440 for sale for $4500 with 97 hours on it. I really don't know anything about them. Just trying to do something as econimical as possible but still have something that does the job.

I looked at them about 2 yrs ago. Thought they had a LOT of value and features for the money. New, the dealer wanted about $6,500. Thought they drove pretty well. This year when I got serious about spending some money, and finally bought a utv, I found out, apparently Bush Hog has left that market. The dealer told me that Bushhog was considering whether to get back in or stay out of this market...From their web site, you can see they no longer show up as a product. Based on that, My only concern would be drive parts, steering, brakes etc... Engine is Honda, so probably fairly easy to replace... Parts might not be a problem...but unknown....

My John Deere dealer offered them for some time as a lower-cost alternative to the more-expensive Gators. They reported having a lot of trouble from those they sold and some less-than-inspiring support from the factory. They no longer sell them. Of course, I am hearing but one side of a story that I am sure is more complex than that, but this is what I know.

anyone know how to get the CVT metal cover off of a Bush Hog TH440, after removing the bolts. no clearance between frame and the cover. I'm trying to locate a shop or service manual, no luck. Bet there is a trick to doing it. I have a rattle inside the cover and I want to take it off, to see whats going on.
