That is the exact one! Do you think 912 hours is any sign of overuse?

Look at the end of the dipper stick and also top end of the left side of the boom ULIAM both have been cracked/broken and re welded with plates.
Just something to be aware of.

Well the dipper stick is what attaches to the bucket. It looks like the point just above the bucket was repaired.

If you follow the dipper stick up to the next piece is the boom, there also appears to be a repair plate welded on the left side. 1:38 in the video. not as sure on the bucket end of the dipper stick

If the video is correct on the hydraulics there is a plugged filter , low fluid or something wrong with the system. Very slow and jerky.

I am not afraid of welded .repaired backhoes, but it does lower resale and means the machine was probably pushed to it's limits more than once.

Only noticed because I bought a hard worked mid sized TLB with quite a few weld repairs. So I tend to look for them . You asked about prices for full size units, mine was just under what is being asked for this compact unit. Figure it was 60 cents a pound.

I'd say that you aren't going to do much better for the money.... and it is cute as can be, and simple, and uses common industrial parts - probably uses them for everything - motor, pumps, drive, couplings....right down to pins & bushings.

Two questions occur to me. One being.... is do you have a use for it without a three point hitch or PTO or 4wd or more gears?
And the other question is.... are you the kind of guy who sees a machine assembled with common industrial components as an advantage? Maybe something easy and fun to tinker with? I might, but then I'm the kind of guy who thinks having tools and a shop is a necessary lifestyle.

Otherwise Kubota makes some fine TLBs with way more advantages - all starting new at about 5 to 10 times the price.
And not all that much less expensive used.

I’m the kind of person who will do anything to save paying someone else for repairs but it’s usually a major debacle trying to get the jobs done! When I was 24 years old, I bought a very basic craftsman tool kit and I still have it to this day. Not much more. But with thise tools I manage to do my own brakes, rotors, calipers pads (and I’m so proud) I’m the kind of person who will do anything to save paying someone else for repairs but it’s usually a major debacle trying to get the jobs done! With YouTube videos and this tractor friend app having somebody tell me I “can do” anything, and I have people to look up to such as yourself! Wish I could see your shop- that would be inspiring.
I know about power takeoffs, but haven’t come up with a purpose for me needing one yet. Three point hitch is still a mystery to me. I do want a four-wheel-drive one, but intend to use this the best I can. If worse comes to worse I’ll just resell it, and wait till I get rich and buy a 10 times higher $ one.

I have to pay $350 for a flatbed to take it the 45 miles to my house. The sale will be done by Tuesday, I’m sure.
