I always use as a rule of thumb 5,000 hours for serviced diesel engines...
My dad sold Allis Chalmers back in the day...
It was not unheard of rebuilds in the 8,000 to 10,000 hour range...
Different era when tractors typically tallied 500 to 1000 hours per year...
Most folk with compacts put no more than 50 to 100 hours per year...
I put 1250 hours on a Yanmar and it was as good as new when I sold it...
Change the oil regularly and keep the air filter serviced and the tractor will outlive you...
