That is if you have a soldering gun, I do not. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

On another note, may be getting a Sims cab and will have no need for this set up. Anyone in NJ/PA interested?? make me an offer and PM me, highest bidder wins/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you take the end of the pipe and file or grind a sharp edge on it and press it agains the plastic with a piece of soft wood behind the plastic and give it a twist or 2 it will cut a nice clean hole. Good luck

New Sims cab has been ordered, /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif this one is officially for sale, make me an offer if you live near NJ/PA. I will include the plastic cover, wood roof, front cooper frame, cooper light poles to attach two lights, front and rear as per the pictures. It does NOT include the 2 flood lights and yellow warning light, switches and wiring, will need that for the Sims cab. The plastic cab is in great condition. Only reason I am buying the Sims cab is well lets just say Santa was good to me this year. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Let the bidding begin, winter is coming soon.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I know the PM sometimes does not work so sent your e-mails to ihaveakubota@yahoo.com. Really do not what to ask for it so lets say we start at $65????

We don't get enough snow for me to bid, but curious if the windows fog up when you are inside.

Or do you just hold your breath for a long time. THKS.

Hey gang! Really good ideas! This round of storms left over 10 feet of snow at my house, so I had to break down and buy a blower for my NH 1725. I like all the Cab ideas, but upon calling Northern Hydraluics, I found that apparently a lot of people have the same idea, as the golf cart cab is backordered through Feb..... so for what it is worth, I went shopping on the internet and found a similar cab for $69 at www.buggiesunlimited.com. I always shop a lot at Northern, but I couldn't wait until the end of the heavy snow season to get a cab.... Thanks for all the good ideas- I will probably use 2x4's as the supports and a 1 1/2" underlayment for my cab roof, as it is not uncommon to get 6ft overnight snowfalls, and I don't think the 3/4 Cu would support that kind of weight.

Also for the attachments around the perimeter, why not use snaps?

Thanks again for the ideas

If a golf cart cab is under a $100 why is a tractor cab around $2000?

My guess is the $2000 tractor cab is a lot more durable which would be needed for day to day use summer and winter. Not to mention all the welding and custom fabrication, high quality plastic, and the time needed to design a cab for a limited amount of sales. They have to make it worth their while to make whatever the minimum order is.

For $89 you are buying a throw-away which will get you by for a season or two (if you are lucky).

That's my guess.

When I'm done it will look like a rube goldberg special.... but I don't care because it will be cheap!
