Ordered mine today for 199.00 at the local. You need to specify "whole goods division" as it is like ....well... a different division. They should be able to find in the inventory there.
Well twinstick, how did the install go? Where allt he parts there? Kind of wondering if I should throw in a fuse block while I am at it, just in the event I add additional items down the line. I would really like a power inverter along with additional lighting. I put one on my motorcycle (fuse block)and it made a big difference when I put in the twin lighter plugs, air horn relay, and some additional electical items. I soldered all connections and used molex plugins on the harness. Blue sea has a small weather proof box although I used the Centek AP-1 on my bike. Itwas a plug and play, juststrip back the wire and push into the fuse box.
I am sure I could find room on the firewall.
ANyway, I was wondering how you made out, and was concerned if you got the adapter bracket for the alternator mount.

Well the install was pain I did not take off the push bar just pushed it forward and lifted the side to get to starter (should have tacken it off) in the begining of this post someone posted step by step instruction on how to do thats what I used... I now have 4 - HELLA 55 watt model is a 8001 hard rubber mount flood pattern.. 2 front 2 back very bright .. Oh yeah kit does not include red boot for back of altenator. Still looking for one.. And yes all the parts were there, I opened box at dealer to make sure before I got home. It really is a very easy install if you take engine cover off. I actually tok off my hood thinking that would make it easier it did a little , it allowed the wright side to lift out some..
.. Mounted two switches wright under my stock switches on my bx 23.
Purchased inline fuses, switches, wire loom, at tractor supply.. Switches are 20 amp did not want to use relays. I ran the wiring down on the left side of the tractor and came up on the left side near radiator near stearing lines just take off nut for the bracket that holds line and it will fit threw firewall.. I will try to take picks tommorow.. As in the first post put fan belt on first it will not fit after altenator is installed pulley is almost touching radiator tank. total time for both installs was about 3 hours but worth it.. Inow have no fear running my light and i can really use my machine at night... Next I am going to add some stobes for top of light bar.. After reading your comment I think I will add a cig lighter in dash off battery as well .

Maybe after I will add a weather proof box will see on if I need to add anything down the line

Nice, good to hear it all worked out well for you. Kind of makes ya wonder why they did not include that from the get go.
So your saying to pull the front brush guard, and pull the front clip for full access? Then I should get te belt on before Iinstall the alternator? Ya may find one of those right angle boots at the auto supply store. Any other pointers?
Oh, here is a look at that fuse block I was speaking of I put on my bike. I know you already have most of your items installed, but its worth a look perhaps.

Yes remove cowl will make it easier I was stubburn . Use lock washers on alernator bolts and you will use some of the parts you remove from your dymo it tellsyou in directions from kubota. The belt is the biggest pain cannot beleive its that tight. Other red wire that goes on starter you have to push threw the boot on starter it hard but it fits.. other then that just read the first couple of post in this thread thats what I did to make sure I was doing it correct it .. It really is idiot proof, I will checkout that web site you listed... Will check auto parts store tommorow for boot.. And yes you will see when you drop the alternator in put belt around pulley then install bolts I also left top bracket very lose so I had more room to get alternater in but if you remove cowl dont woory about it..

I was able to get the kit. As mentioned, I had to specifically tell them that it was a whole goods part. I removed the cowl and it was a breeze to install. I had to use the original top bolt as it did not come in my kit. Otherwise everything was there (minus the red boot on alternator). Easy install and did not take long. Worth every penny spent. Everyone needs this kit. My Meyer snowplow now does not drain the battery and I can now also add a winch kit, aux lights, and power plugs for my sprayer pump. Thanks for all the posts and info on this.

I was able to get my alternator Kit on my BX23 today, followed Charlie's directions and no issues. His instructions where 10x better the the ones that came with the kit. My kit also did not have the red insulation booty for the hot lead on the alternator. My bota dealer found a black one laying around and I modified it to fit.
I also pulled the bash bar and cowling for easy access and raised the bucket. Just took my timeand made it better than a factory install, thank you all and especially you Charlie for taking the time and posting, the pics are worth a 1000 words!
