That's what I use on my BX, with a 5000lb rated d-ring in the center inside the bucket. I chose that size because the 5/16 grab book on my chains can grab it, too.

I use the short grab-slip adapter on my rear drawbar tow hook, too.

Nice project, adding hooks increases the versatility of the tractor immensely :thumbsup:

Another nice thing about it , I made a 2 inch insert with a hook welded to it and I can put it in the receiver hitch from the back , then I have a hook on the back side of the bucket for lifting heavy loads.

Everything looks great, I replaced my old kubota with a new bx2670, I have the hooks all made up for my FEL, but I hate welding on the new bucket. I'll get a few scratches on it then do it. I also bought the quick connect pallet forks with mine, so I can use it also. As everyone said, great weld job.

Outstanding job BMWMIKE. I think that is how I will set mine up. What are the handles on the side of the bucket for? (40 years as a marine Chief Engineer, and this is my first foray into the world of little tractors , so I may have some annoying questions for. awhile.
