BX FEL Dolly Help!

Woodstock, I can't help you there. But since you have made them for other implements, could you share your design with me for a rototiller dolly? I'm getting ready to build one of these and right now I have a bad case of inventor's block.

This is an interesting challenge. I haven't built one - but I have thought about it (daydreaming about getting a FEL for my BX). Unless you want lots of fussing around each time you take the FEL off, I would say that there are only a couple of ways to do this. First question is - what would you be making the dolly out of - lumber or steel?

I'm getting ready to make a dolly for my FEL too. I have found the dolly for my tiller is invaluable. I can hook up my tiller in seconds because I can micro adjust the position which I couldn't do if it was sitting on the floor.
I'm going to make the loader dolly the same way-- 2X6 on the flat glued and screwed together, 3/4 plywood also glued and screwed, and real heavy duty castors. The glue I have found from wood working greatly increases strength.
