Junkman,
I already had replied to your post asking about the grass catcher for your
BX22 and more or less gave you my opinions and reviews.
To answer your direct questions regarding installation, I can't say for sure about installing for self, as I had the dealer install it, but I think looking at the installation procedure in the manual, I would also say it doesn't look like it would be that hard.
Regarding is it worth the money? Well, I think for grass catching it does an excellent job, but I am really looking forward to the leaf pickup this fall. Is it worth it........well as part of the entire package spread over the term so it was only a few dollars more a month, yes it probably is worth it. To go out and pay $1600 now to have it, probably wouldn't (of course this says more for get what you want during intial purchase and payments because it is harder to come up with additional money later on when you are already making payments on the first purchase /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
And last of all, it was the wife who made the final call on the catcher as she wanted the grass for mulch, I wanted to spend that money for a
BX2200!! But reality is that this 1800 will do everything I want is it surely is more powerful than my old Cub 1811.
Last of all, as I stated before the biggest downside to the grass catcher is that it is a pain in the neck to put on and take off. KUBOTA NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM.
