OK, the Herd spreader is the model M-96 and it holds 3 Bu. or approximately 200 lbs. A hopper extension is available for more capacity and a cover for rain also. It is made of glavenized steel with an iron bottom and gear box. It is fairly sturdy and I have gotten a lot of use from it. I clean it and wash it after using it for fertilizer and spray it with a light oil. It is holding up nicely and I expect it to last for many years. I forget what it cost but like all this stuff--too much! It works decent but not outstanding and definitly better than what I had which was a push spreader. In fact it really does a very decent job with seeds and granular fetilizers. Phone is 219-753-6311.
Trescrows you ask, when I was a child I nearly died from complications with Red Meazels, I was very sick for quite some time. I remember occasionally looking out my window and seeing three crows sitting there near the window. Sometimes I saw them in my dreams. To this day, I occasionally see my three crows, in fact, quite regular they sit on my fence and caw-caw-caw, calling me, to what I do not quite know. Believe it or not. J
