When I bought my used BX2200 last year, I noticed that when raising the deck up, that the right side always lifted an inch or two before the left side began to raise also. I really didn't think this looked right and thought it should lift evenly. I thought that the slack on the LH deck lift link was the problem basically because of its design. A spline type of connection would be a lot better than what is there. With around 150hrs on the machine, I figured the normal use on this type of connection had done some wear on the pin and/or collar on the LH link arm.
Just got back with the new 60" deck installed on my BX23 and it acts the same way. Is this normal? Maybe it doesn't hurt anything but it looks strange and is even more noticable than the 54" was.
Mowed a few passes just to get a feel of it and it seems so much wider than the 54" on my 2200.
