BX weight lifting test

/ BX weight lifting test #21
I think it is wise to remember that when we are seeing how much can be lifted by our machines, they can fail the test in a very expensive way.

I run my BX2370 at 2500-2700 rpm, if I drop to 2000rpm I find it tends to labour a bit with a decent load such as wet builders sand, in the bucket (Kubota 4:1), doesn't seem to make much difference to the 3PL.

I find BX max pressure is established at <>2000 RPM, increasing RPMs beyond that does not lift more just speeds up actions. I raised my pressure to 2000 PSI so can lift a little more. Never really tested comprehensibly like the OP. I assume everybody knows to get the weight as close to the tractor as you can to maximize weight capability. I can lift a lot more with a chain anchored just under the curl cylinder. I use bucket mounted forks. The FL attachment that replaces the bucket will lift more being closer to tractor.

The dealer told us to run at 3000 but it sounds harsh, it sounds happy at the range I am using, I appreciate the pressure info though.
