BX1500 or BX2230

My bar tires don't damage the yard at all. The only time they did make a mess, was right after the two hurricanes came through, and I had to drive the BX23 through two inches of standing water. They made a depression, but frankly, anything would have, even my feet did when I walked through the water.

WOW! I'm a BX23 owner and even I can come up with reasons for a 7510. I think we may hear a word or two from the owners of the 7510. Every tractor has it's niche in the market for good reason.

What reasons did you come up with?

It will pull alot more just based on the tire diameter. Larger tires are alot more traction. That and the loader and 3ph are both alot stronger. Granted, my BX23 pulls everything I've needed, but a bigger tire will pull more.

1*Right.
2*I still would would go to the B7610 or B2410 if I was going bigger than the BX23.

I have a BX2200 and am very glad I have the extra horsepower. The hp comes in handy in maintaining 5 acres such as in driving the rough cutter in tall brush. I wouldn't even consider a 1500 or 1830. I think your choices are between the 2230 and the 23. If you think you will need a backhoe very much and can afford it now, go with the 23. If you don't think you'll ever get $5k use out of a backhoe, go with the 2230. If you will eventually need the bh, but just can't afford it now, it is not possible to get a 23 without the bh, so you'll have to get a 2230 and buy an aftermarket bh later. As stated above, the Woods GroundbreakerX line, model bh6000, is the only bh designed to fit a 2200 or 2230 with a subframe quick-on quick-off set up. It is true that the 23 has a stronger frame than the 2230 in order to acommodate the stresses that the bh puts on the frame. The 23 would cost less up front than a 2230 and a Woods bh purchased together. I priced the Woods unit around central CA and got quotes as high as $7900 and a low of $4975, which was from my local Kubota dealer. He said he gets volume discounts from Woods and free shipping from them and can sell for less than other dealers can even purchase. Someone above said the Woods bh is PTO driven with its own hydraulic system. That's not what I've read or been told by the dealer. I was told that my price includes the extra hydraulic couplings to the rear of the tractor to power the bh from the tractor's own hydraulics. Neil, from Messick Farm Equipment, a Kubota dealer, even stated on here that because it has the same hydraulic pump as a BX2230, a BX 1500 could provide the same amount of power to the bh6000. Here's Woods link for the bh:

As far as tires, I have ag and turf. The turf tires have been in storage for 4 years because the ag tires do not damage the lawn at all.
