Heres a drainage ditch along the drive. I've put about 800 feet of pipe around the property in the past 3 years. the drive way in this part is about 150' long. It took me about 6-8 hours dig this portion and move the dirt out. I'm back filling it with 3B stone. I've moved and spread literally 200 ton of gravel with my BX
I have 9 acres mostly hillside. I don't mow with my BX22. I have cleared alot of the property.Stumps, made trails and have been filling in an old pond as I go. I also used the tractor to dig out a above ground pool area.
They are great for landscaping, moving mulch and such.
I have a 5 foot york rake I use to smooth the gravel drive and to spread topsoil around before planting areas I've cleared of brush.
You may want to go bigger if your in a hurry. But the BX will do it all given the time. It also is small enough if you have lots of obsticles on your property. That may be an issue to think about.

My biggest project was backfilling a 500' long x 6.5' deep x 3-4' wide trench that was dug for my geothermal heat pump installation. The BX22 did it without much complaining, except for 2 hoses that blew. I have a lot of pictures of the job at: Geothermal installation thread
The estimate was 600 tons of backfill, not to forget the 60 tons of screenings that I moved into the trench.

Wow...great post! I didn't expect so many great pictures...I have read so much about what people have done with their BX's, but pictures really are worth a 1000 words. I have been on the fence about the purchase, but these pictures will probably push me over the edge. Keep them coming...great works guys...I respect all of that hard work!

Copperhead1967...that drainage ditch you dug is very similar to a project I need to do. Did the BX handle it without a problem?
