I was just quoted $16100. for a B2410 HST 4wd with FEL and 60" MMM in Frederick Md. Seems you got a little better deal than me. I gave him my word its a go so I wont try to renegotiate. But that included R4 tires (my choice) filled with coolant and delivery. That dealer also has a pretty good repuation for service etc.
The dealer I used was Mid-State Equipment in Titusville. I probably could have gotten a better deal, but I also was concerned with service. I also got killed by the 6% tax. I did get a quote from Carver that was reasonably close to what I paid. Don't know if they are one of the dealers you tried, but I'm rather happy with them. Financing was a breeze, got my tractor/brush cutter/box blade delivered the next day, and every so often I receive a mailing from them about specials.
I bought just before the rebates were announced, but I was able to take advantage of Kubota's 3-year 3.99% financing.
Are those quotes including the current Kubota rebates? ($700 for the B2410, $0 for the BX22)
The BX22 is nice with the backhoe, and I believe it is much cheaper than buying a B2410 with a backhoe, but do you need it? A backhoe to me would be worth about $1000 (and I don't think I'm going to find one for that price!). The only use I might have for one is the clean out the 1000' of drainage ditches that we have.
I bought the BX22 with 60" mid mount and loader for $12,300. Western central Indiana. But the dealer is now broke and gone, but I don't think these deals were the reason. I think his huge inventory sunk him. He had about 60 tractors at all times.
