Stokes,
I just purchased my
B21 about three weeks ago. I have never used a
BX22 but I too was looking at both of them before my purchase. The
B21 is more of the industrial model, not made for mowing the lawn really. I was not purchasing the tractor to be an all around tractor. I wanted it to dig holes and move piles of material. I was told by a dealer (not where I bought it) that if I wanted it for those purposes, I would be disapointed with the BX compared to the
B21.
The
B21 is nearly 2x the price of a
BX22 when new, I bought my '99 for the price of a new
BX22. It all depends on what you want to use it for. The
B21 TLB weighs about 4200 lbs not sure on the BX, but if you transport that is also a consideration. I have a 18' 7700 gvw trailer with 4 whl brakes to move it.
