No worries... I'm sure you will beat me to it.

DRAGONEGGS, i haven`t forgot you, i just haven`t had the time to get back to finishing the guard for my filter mod. Very busy here, gotta work while i can. But i definitely wont forget you. At this point, you`ll likely have yours built before i can get back to working on mine...lol

Well, routing the fuel line under the frame rail won't work, because if when you lift the mower it'll pinch the fuel line and guess what? Back to the drawing board, I guess...

Correct, thats what i saw when installing mine. So i worked pretty hard to get it routed per the instructions.

Well, I finally threw in the towel and picked up a replacement piece of fuel line that was about two inches longer. Complete difference. Slipped into place, tied everything up, everything's good. Glad to finally have the thing installed.

Same thing happened with me too George, at first the hose was to short, until i figured out that i had run it in the wrong spot... once i frigged around getting in the right spot, the length was right on the money. So, i`m thinking you didnt get it routed in the correct location under the floor pan (???) Hopefully, if you have a mower deck, that everything will clear ok for you. There`s nothing worse than buying a kit, and then have to go chase down more parts just to make it work.

116 hours on my BX23s it痴 below zero and it痴 stuttering. When I bought the BX the first thing I thought I壇 replace was that pissy little water/fuel filter. I had great plans for a simple bracket and a racor. I just found this thread and ordered the last one listed on eBay. I致e owned several diesel powered boats and there is no chance I would leave a dock with one of the stock filters. Thanks to whoever found this setup, if I had the time I壇 likely have tried to make my own but after all the testimonials I can稚 resist.
