Was there ever a headlight fogging issue with these scuts?

While looking at them at several dealers, I've noticed quite a few with fogged headlights.

Turn on the lights and the fog will be gone in seconds.

Sure that will solve the problem temporarily, but taking an educated guess, I don't believe it is supposed to be that way. I would think that moisture is going to lead to corrosion within the headlight and premature failure. Seeing numerous units on the lots coupled with the fact that not all of them had BOTH lights fogged makes me believe there is a quality issue with these headlights.

How many owners out there have the fogging problem?

I have had mine only a couple of weeks and haven't noticed it. Since they are not a sealed beam setup condenstation will form. I don't think its a big issuse if it does. I bet some silicone grease around the rubber seal on the lamp would help...
I have seen similar issued on ATVs and never had a problem with corosion.

It seems Kubota has worked out the major bugs on this unit. One of the reasons I felt confident buying it.

I will say this I had a Bx22 and get the Bx24 (2 months ago). The fenders on these things are a joke; for the money...Already had the front sweeper break (within 1 hour of use).....

Also the FEL is not like the old BX22. They added the HP (1) but the plastic is a total joke I feel. You put you hand on it and BAM; moving fender....

Hi
I have the BX1830 and put 30 watt Back-up light bulbs in place of the original 1157 el cheappo bulbs that was original equipment on the BX
With the LA211 loader on the BX the light is good enough to manouver around when dark
I do not mow at night
HEAVY DEW
I try not to run down the road, but I have a magnetic Strobe light on the rear just in case
Regards
DGS

All of the items you listed are covered by warranty replacement parts. Here are the numbers thanks to Charliebrn's postings:

(Grip Kit (Kubota part number:K2581-9557-0) Contains all the plastic handles and lever sleeves for the levers and knobs. Seems that they go on much tighter than the old ones.

Cluster kit: This is the dash cluster for all the gauges. The first design could accumulate moisture inside, or the hour meter may not work properly
BX1850 Part number K2501-6250-2
BX2350/24 Part number K2581-6250-2

For the original fenders that had a tendency to break...
Fender Kit: Part number K2581-95522

Step stay kit: These are the new brackets that support the floorboard. This is extremely heavy-duty. This has to eliminate any floorboard flex at all. Very impressive fix.
BX2350/1850 part number K2581-9554-0
BX24 Part number K2592-9554-0

I love my BX-24 and have been very happy with Kubota's stepping up to take care of the issues with this tractor. If you have issues they are with your dealer. I agree with skyco that you need to go to Kubota directly.

I had been talking to the salesman I bought my tractor from for several months and was getting nothing done, well to make a long story short he found another job so I talked with a new salesperson and within 2 weeks they had everything done under warranty. What a difference. As dealers go they went from the bottom of my list to the top of business I like doing business with. I must have a new tractor now as the hour meter now shows 0 hours.:D

So it wasn't the dealer, it was the salesman. Good thing for you he left!! :D

I'm glad the new salesman sorted it out for you. I am however concerned that dealer policy did not require installing these parts BEFORE delivery.
I got my BX in april of 2006. All updated parts were on my machine as they were released. This past fall I also got a new seat and a heavier battery cover which actually stays where it should.
Even with the broken fender within 1 month I am very happy with my purchase and with Kubota's fixing issues as they arise. I have not seen any headlight fogging on my machine. Now my f-250 is another story.

Saw another 24 today with a headlight that was fogged and had about an ounce of water laying inside. This is obviously a new problem creeping in on this model.
