I like the cardboard box that the 3pt hitch kit comes in.
Much better that all the bits just in a plastic bag.
Thanks for posting your photographs

Very nice setup. You're obviously a talented young man.
kj:thumbsup:
I had exact same issue with hex bolts, but i did have right size allen, but it was tough to use. Had to put a cheater bar on it. I reversed the way it was assembled so I could use the regular socket wrench or impact gun to take grill off easier.
Well, today we (me & Dad) preformed the 50 hour service on the BX25. First I took off the backhoe and mower. Next, I took off the mower for the first time.:confused2: Then we started to take off the grill guard and we did not have a tool to take off the hex bolts on the front. My Dad improvised by putting a nail set in a pair of vice grips and using the head to remove the bolts. They were also on so tight...:confused2: (even though we don't need it) Then I removed the grill assembly. It is amazing to see the engine without the grill on...
While my Dad worked on the filters I took the 3-point hitch out of the box and assembled it for the first time...:confused2: After that we took care of the rest of the maintenance and I put the loader and backhoe back on. Am I tired...
Pictures to come...![]()
Good job. I printed a picture of your assembled 3ph for my future reference. Mine's still in the box.
very nice job, however the toplink gold bracket is upside down.

nice job overall!
Looks like a lot of fun. My neighbor has a BX24 that may need the 3 point hitch installed when he buys a 3 point log splitter. Looks pretty simple. I have taken my 3 point apart on my yanmar and reassembled with telescopic lower links. Servicing the machines is also fun. I have serviced the 3720, my L118, my 9518, the L110, and the CT322. Gotta love getting that oil on your hands.
