Gents might I please get some opinions here?
For my new BX25, in 48" width only, Gearmore has a box scraper that weights 355 Pounds in stock, it is a manual, 4 individual ripper tooth unit so each time you want to rip you have to drop 1 thru 4 teeth or 1,2,3 or 4 teeth, all manually done.
They also have in stock an old, but new, Gearmore w/ a hydraulicly operated ripper toothbar, all teeth of corse drop w/ ease via hydralic from the seat. My question is, the second hydralicly operated unit weights 445 Lbs. The manual says max weight of 375 LBS for a box scraper.
If I splurge w/ double or better the cost for the hydralically operated ripper bar am I hurting the unit as in overloaded? I here weight is your friend for a box scrapaer...
I am not finish grading every day, it is simply I have been trying to think ahead, I ain't gettin' any younga'!~
