A good example is - Put wood inth ‘ole means close the door

Another good one is -
Ear all, see all, say nowt. Eat all, sup all, pay nowt. And if ever thou does owt fer nowt – allus do it fer thissen
Yes, that is English. Sort of. This is the Yorkshireman’s motto and translates as follows: “Hear all, see all, say nothing. Eat all, drink all, pay nothing. And if you ever do anything for nothing—always do it for yourself.” It doesn’t reflect too kindly, does it?

I'm originally from England and we have lots of old sayings that don't make too much sense lol
Oh, it makes a ton (143 stone?) of sense to me.
Just reading "drop it on your toes" gave me an immediate emotional response.
Very similar to the reaction I've had when getting an unexpected price quote at a car dealership.

Welcome to the club! You will absolutely love it and find so many things to do with it you never thought of... I highly recommend the Piranha Tooth Bar for your FEL bucket. You also should consider belly armor by BXpanded or BroTek if you will be traveling over sticks and twigs other than just grass to protect the HST fan. Lot's of great mods out there. Another one to consider if you are working on other than flat ground are wheel spacers. With the MMM research to be sure the spacer sizes are compatible with the MMM.

Congrats, fellow BX25er! (Us 25ers have become a kind of unofficial club here on TBN,)

I second everything dragoneggs just said, and also note that the 2" BroTek rear wheel spacers help to make more clearance for chains on the rear wheels. (But note as well that they also make the tractor wider, to 52", and this is 1" wider than my Kubota B2789 rear mount snowblower. Not a big deal, but I think I will be adding wings anyway, since that blower is a KILLER that will handle anything.)

Also, look in to the BXpanded bucket expander - it is great for enhancing your FEL!

Why not go with 1 1/2" rear spacers, and keep the rear tread the same as the blower's width? Should be plenty of clearance for chains.

One of the stupidest sayings I ever heard to describe a used machine was " it runs out good".
Yep that's a 'good' one
Just wanted ask others if they have experience of KUBOTA reducing prices/offering improved deals during the winter. I am interested in a new bx25 but thinking if I buy now its only a matter of weeks before the slow falls here in Alberta so wouldn't be using the backhoe or even loader much during winter as most of my upcoming projects are Spring / summer jobs
I could use the Bx for some snow clearance but already have a Polaris with a blade attached. Suppose I'm trying to convince the wife I/we need a Bx and seemed to have won her over but then if it's parked up for several months whilst I pay the 0%/60 payments she could lose faith in my decision..............

I have used both the bucket to push snow and the blower. Around here using the bucket is a waste of time due to re-drifting.
