BX80 Series Announced!

I really like the new FEL disconnect on the bx2680. While the old style was easy this new style is great. Along with the skid steer connection I am glad I purchased the 2680. Haven't taken off the mower with the drive over connection yet but I assume that I will like that also.

Has the new Kubota BX2680 increased its Fel lifting capacity?

What is the BX2680 fel lifting capabilities?

And with bucket on. . . How much payload capability remains?

Go on to Kubota's website. All the info is there. The 80-Series has less capacity than the 70-Series if you order the SSQA.

We are on our third BX tractor. Started with the BX2200 and then the BX2360 and now a BX2680. I really love the quick connect bucket. There were many times before where the bucket would have been useful but I just didn't bother due to the slight hassle of attaching it. Now it is just so fun to attach and disconnect the bucket! I didn't bother with the drive over mower deck as we only attach it in spring and take it off in late fall.

I said I was done since I just got my BX2670 last summer. I figured the loader is the only real thing I'd like, and I don't use the loader as much as the mower. Now, this past two weeks, I may change my tune. My loader on my BX2670 came with the stand jockeyed up. It is a real pain to get it on and off because the loader stanchions never align on both sides. I wind up having to move it manually. I think the stand wasn't welded on correctly and in stand mode, the loader teeters side to side. I may just be trading up sometime.

I bought a new BX23s, just shy of $21K
FEL BH MMM and they loaded the R4 tires and installed stainless valve stems, delivered free, and i couldnt be happier.
My dealer made this a VERY SMOOTH transaction, and i was a first time buyer at their dealership. (80 miles away from me one way)
My wife an i walked out of that dealership more than very pleased. They were VERY informative about ALL their products, absolutely no pushy sales staff either.
This is the very first time that i didnt want to punch a salesman right in the mouth. My wife and i are STILL blown away at the professionalism they showed.
When the tractor was delivered, they were an hour early to my house with the tractor... thats what i call caring about their customer. Driver was very courteous.

So, i didnt really need the 60" mowing deck, but with the rebates, plus they knocked off money on the tractor, i only paid $900 for the deck, stupid not to buy it.
When our old JD mowing tractor dies, then i`ll have a brand new BX 60" mower to keep me mowing without having to buy a new mowing machine.

First day of delivery, i dropped the 16" backhoe scoop down into the ground, dug out a 4ft+ diameter black walnut tree stump... 2hrs later, stump was gone.

The backhoe was very smooth, super easy to operate. A cast iron swivel beats JD hands down. JD builds their`s out of stamped steel...DERP... big mistake...! JD`s hydro hoses laying around on the BH floor, trip/fall hazard. JD dosent have foot steps for you to crawl up into the loader seat. JD implements are made in mexico, Kabota in the USA...! It took me 30 seconds to remove the backhoe from this tractor. It uses saddles on the bottom, clam shell upper attachment. No more stuck pins to rust, no more worries removing the hoe. Everything that attaches to the BX23s are amazing... they made all the hard work of changing implements completely go away.

As for the FEL coming off the tractor, KABOTA got that right... you do NOT have to exit the tractor to do so. Dealer showed me how fast it comes off, 10 seconds,
he drove away w/out the loader. The quick change FEL, omg what a treat...!!!! Bobcat accessories are a snap... amazing...! My next purchase will be a snow pusher.

Those of you belly aching about less FEL lifting power... dry your tears,
put the shim kit in the pump relief valve. That will jump you up a couple hundred pounds of pressure. (from 1,750psi to 1,950psi with the shim kit)
If then, you dont think its strong enough, then you obviously bought the wrong tractor to start with. The BX23s is a SUB-COMPACT, its NOT mean`t to be a monster.

Anyway.... i gotta go dig out 5 more tree stumps.... sure glad i bought the BX23s.... i couldn`t be happier...!

I cut down four pines this weekend. Some logs were 24" in diameter and 12 feet long. My old 2670 amazed me. Jery's forks were tough and I'm sure I hauled some logs in excess of 850#, and waited for them to bend or twist and bind. Not a chance. I did wish I had the new 80 series loader to pop the loader off. That's where I'm leaning toward the 80's.

I really would appreciate a quicker attach/removal of the BH on my BX25D!

I'd just like to have any backhoe. Every time I've pulled a John Thomas, I've thought about a hoe. Don't really need one, but have many uses that would be drained in short order. Just can't justify a hoe for 1-3/4 acres and the though of becoming everyone's "buddy".
