Bxpanded Quick On Pallet/Brash Forks

You will like them. I have carried 2 railroad ties at a time with them. The lift wont do it but the curl will just enough to get them off the ground. I have never maxed out my hydraulics with the bucket full, but do it every time i use the forks.

I welded 1 chain link on the bottom of each one. This way, I put a tie down around the back to keep them from slapping.

The w pins are a pain, but if you get the instructions on how to tune them up, that's all you need.

I'm not real impressed with these forks. 1-you cant see them when you're trying to get under something. 2-They may be great for moving a couple heavy things once or twice and repetitive use for light weight limbs and such. For repetitive use moving heavy things they are not very good. 3-The retaining pins are crap. The material that the retainers are made of needs to be harder or something. I have to re-tweak them after every third or fourth load of logs and its a 'pita'.

I understand now why those that have them are going to something different.

Its a clever design and probably has its niche but they aren't for heavy continual use moving lots of heavy things. You will be rebending those dadburn retainers.

I use mine a lot for heavy stuff. I think as the bucket lip and the retainers flex you have to adjust. Mine stopped needing adjustment after I used them alot. I did get frustrated with the pins. I have lost 2, but bxpanded has sent new ones when I asked.

The only reason I don't make some little brackets to bolt on is I like being able to adjust the width.

I'm stuck with them now. I will have to figure something out.
