BXpanded snow plow?

Here is a perfect example for all you advertisers. All it takes is one dissatisfied customer to kill sales of a product for years. There could be a thousand satisfied customers, but it does not matter, all it takes is ONE. If you "nip it in the bud" and don't let that customer become a dissatisfied customer in the first place, you would be well to do so, even if you have to refund money, take calls, do what ever it takes to solve this problem. If you don't believe me, just see above^

i have been looking at these for my bx25. Maybe i will just look for a plow from a jeep or small truck and fabricate my own mount. Was hoping to just buy one already done but... Btw i love my bx25:))

This is an old jeep plow and a frame that hooks up in same location as my loader. Works very very well!

I made a Polaris Glacier II mount for my BX 1860. Had the plow left over from my ATV, made up a mount for the Kubota and added a hydraulic cylinder to raise and lower it. Actually works a lot better on the Kubota than it did on the ATV due to power steering and the hydraulic lift in lieu of a winch. Figure I have about $600 into it including the Glacier Plow. The hydraulic cylinder was the biggest additional cost at $80.

I have the bxpanded plow and just used it for a 10 inch snow fall this past weekend. I found it works pretty well. You do have to get it attached well or it will slide on the bucket. My package was a little beat up by UPS as well. I think they may be marginal for delivery of items like this that are bumping up against their size and weight limits. To me, it's just a tool that is going to take a beating anyway. If I can get it functional with 5 minutes of hammer work, it's all good.

I'm very pleased with the bxpanded plow. I did have to modify the bracket that attaches to the top of the bucket. I also rigged up a safety cable to keep it from "nose-diving" on me.

I just finished my driveway. I have a quarter mile long, narrow, gravel driveway. I go up, come back down and it's real quick for these 6" kind of snowfalls. This is my second year using the plow and I am happy that I have it.

Would you show some close up pics of the base mount to the bucket lip? And I don't see any mechanism for lifting the plow when curling/lifting the bucket. Could you explain your design and how effective it is? TIA

I will try n get pics for you later not home right now but I used a frame rail I had off my old 2002 ford truck that I had to take off to mount a plow just cut the side off to make a u channel welded it to the frame were the loops were for the cyl lines were the rachet straps on hooked on to the spot were the cyls used to be n I crossed them so it don't slide works great I have a 180 ft driveway with a 3 car turnaround the only thing is if we have more than 8 inchs I take my time I will get more pics thanks for looking
