Paul, I don't think I've ever looked at one of your threads and NOT been impressed by your ingenuity, talents or your own complimentary attitude. Thanks for being you.

Now, back to those pieces of machinery and tools that would make Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor say, "AAAhhhooooo"!:D

Gee Jay. After those comments I'll have to spend the rest of the day in the shop because my head swelled up so much I can't get out through the door

I appreciate your kind words sir but your giving me way to much credit. All my best ideas come from desperation on trying to get out of bad situations.

I try and share my work and experiences and hope some might learn from it as I learn from others who post as well. After all this is what being a forum member is all about.

As for attitude, I try and not take things to seriously. I'm just like everyone else having to get up in the morning and go to work but I do try and make it fun :D

Thanks again friend for you kind comments

Is that break made from cold rolled steel? What about the bending edge?

Paul:

Thanks for the kind words on my stuff, I do appreciate it.

I like the simplicity of the spoked wheel truing machine. For some reason I was thinking the other day about re-lacing a truing wire wheels looks to be a PITA.

The pipe notcher sure looks more robust than the ones I see on the net.

Of course the brakes are handy gadgets.

Also I had a feeling you've been busy with customers. Glad to see you took a break to fill us in on what you've been up to.

Hey Matt no thanks necessary. I'm only speaking my mind

It's crazy around here these days. Yesterday I went and got my hair cut (what's left of it) Came back to work and started a welding repair for a peice of farm equipment.

After I got that done I had to do a full service on a Honda Van and do brake work as well.

After I completed that I had to try and get the grass mowed. It's been raining and or high humidity here for a few weeks and the grass is always wet BUT after two hours I got it done.

After that I started to fit a custom wheel on a bike I've been doing for a customer. As you might have guessed everything didn't fit so I had to machine parts/adapters on it and left the shop at 12:35 this morning :( but I got it done.

Now this morning I have to clean up the lathe then do a vehicle inspection and do some more fabrication. I just call this section of the thread "A day in the life" of 4shorts . Here's a few pics. Stay well buddy!

Ok Paul, after reading and looking at your pics I feel like I've worked an 18 hr day!:D

 Well it should have felt that way because that what it was :( The only problem I had was that I ran out of day

Made a little more progress tonight on the ironworker project. I'm a little rusty on my tig welding but it might be be because every 10 minutes someone is dropping in to see what I'm up to and it causes me to rush a bit.
The welding has a little contamination but not serious. I usually use a stainless steel brush to clean the aluminum plus wipe it all down with acid-tone but didn't bother tonight.

Anyway for those who might find any of this remotely interesting you'll see it starting to taking shape.
