Cabela's and TYM Tractors

So explain to me how I can lift only 800 lbs rated. A 1000+ pound round bail with a 250 pound bucket over 4 feet in the air. And u can place a round bail just as close to the pins on a set of forks as u can in s bucket

My friend ... Not trying to argue with you here. Keep in mind that 800lbs is rated to full height, but the weight capability at 48" will be higher than 800lbs. Also, yes, you absolutely can roll a bale back on forks. However, most SSQA forks are setup differently on the face than buckets are. They are already "curled" quite a bit at ground level, compared to a bucket... just the nature of their vertical design. Also, you can't usually "roll back" an evenly distributed load on a pallet like you can in a bucket ... due to safety and stability reasons. Typically, you carry a pallet load close to "level".

Also others have posted in the manual for the T433 and T503 loader states max lifting to full height as 2905 lbs.

If that is the case, that would make more sense.

However, I've downloaded the tx500 loader manual before, and it says max lift is somewhere around 2473 IIRC ... Even the replacement loader for the new tier 4 models, tx55, says 2473 (I think... It's 24xx something)

I have seen at least 2 to 3 different loaders on the T433 and T503. The older T450 and T451 had two different loaders. One was stronger than the other. I believe one had a lift capacity of 2750 and the other 2550. I have been researching a new tractor purchase and on the brochure for the 433/503 the loader spec from TYM was under 2,000 lbs. don't forget that the Mahindra 5010 is almost the same machine with a different engine and Mahindra loader and they spec it at 3,100 lbs.

Yeah, I know! I'd like that Mahindra loader on my Massey. Actually, I'm looking into a little winter project of changing the lift cylinder angle, since my angles are quite shallow, vs that ML156 loader on the Mahindra... those lift cylinders have a comparatively steep angle.

Anyhow, here's the two loader options on the T503...

TYM also had the LT 550 loader which has the 2,900 lb lift capacity. Here is a quote from another thread.

Yes they have nothing listed on the t500 I have a black and white photo copy given to me by the dealer. And it has 2963 loader capable and it had an lt550 loader on it.

You won't find the lt550 on the website either but it's on their loader brochure. Basically the lt550 comes in just shy of the lt600 go figure. I can buy a creature that doesn't exist on the web, has great specs, and good price.

Bone Stock,
Like others said I basically just rolled it back just enough to lift it off the trailer. I have lifted the back tires off the ground numerous times using my homemade tree puller which I made using pallet forks and the Mott 88 mower as a ballast. The hydraulics are much stronger than the tractor can handle, in fact I leave the mower on most of the time just to stabilize the tractor when I'm using any of the front end attachments.

Back on topic guys. . .

So, has anyone confirmed that Cabella's is selling parts for TYM tractors? Like many of you on the left coast, my go to dealer (Steve @ Valley View) closed up shop, as did the Redmond distribution center. Seriously depressing as I used to make a call and would have parts on my doorstep within 48 hours. Perhaps Cabella's is "an" answer?

Wouldn't see why u can't get parts. Just the loader should be different.
