And not to mention a lot of our lower quality coal gets barged overseas to countries that burn it in their coal fired electric plants, (where they don't have to worry about environmental standards like ours), while we barge in higher quality coal from the South American strip mines for some of our higher standard coal fired electric plants. But, many of our coal fired plants are still exempt from the federal standards anyways. Did you know that the whole world does not use unleaded gas? Many 3rd world countries use leaded gas, like what we outlawed. Kill the seals and save the whales...

What is wrong with this picture ? What am I missing ..We are Coal rich in this country and yet we buy all this Oil from other countries even though we have plenty which we will not drill for. We should burn our coal...all we can to generate all the electricity we need, we should continue to gassify coal like Rentech, Inc does and countries that want to buy our coal, wheat, corn etc. should have to buy it by the barrel measurment and be charged the same as we pay for a barrel of Oil..The earth will clense itself ....it always has....I'm done !

Don't forget to use dirty motor oil...I save all of mine to help burn brush. Works great!

mustangs...I do that too...also use your old oil from your fryer it works good as well...you know in the old days they used diesel on ponds to kill watermeal and used it around fence lines to kill weeds and we are still all here..

For years before I finally had my driveway done, I used to mix #2 diesel (back when it was cheap) and dirty motor oil to keep the dust down and to kill the weeds along the drive. That really did the job...if they catch you doing it now they'll lock you up and throw away the key.
