I think that is the material my Mahindra canopy came lined with - I was thinking fiber blackboard when I saw your post. My canopy is heavy gauge steel with angle iron framing and a good, thick layer of this fiberboard . In 4 years and 900 hours of every kind of conditions, it has never made any kind of noise - except of course when the tree limbs hit it !! Even when I'm running 15 mph down the road and my FEL bucket and the boxblade are rattling like crazy, the canopy doesn't make a peep.
