Case 1740 uniloader

I have a 1974 I think uniloader and I would like to know if anybody might be able to help me. When I got to raise the bucket it right at the first part of raising it, it will drop until I reach a certain part of moving the lever which means I have to move the lever farther to get past this spot then it will raise which is a real pain to use if you are trying to load something using a chain or something. Does anyone know if it is a simple adjustment somewhere in the valve body that I can mess with.
