Last summer I bought a new to me Case 75A in excellent condition. Everything worked except for one light, which I quickly fixed. It's the first time I have had a tractor that every light and everything else actually worked. I went out a few weeks ago to shred some grass and noticed a few problems. The headlights no longer came on. All the other lights worked fine. The tachometer did not work, it occasionally would bounce if you revved the engine really high. The batter charge indicator light was lit up on the dashboard. I found one wire under the hood that had been chewed through or broken. It looked like it went to the voltage regulator....maybe??? I repaired the wire and thought that might be it.....nope. I have traced all the wire bundles looking for some broken or chewed wires and I cannot find anything. I am about to get the trusty multi meter out and start tracking wires. I am thinking all three failures are somehow related since everything was working and this all happened at once. Has anyone had this happen? Any suggestions? Any help / pointers / advice would be greatly appreciated.
