Some of my cats, four of these are no longer here.
Chow time.jpg
Of the nine cats eating, 5 are still here and the other 4 have moved on to greener pastures. (Most likely dead). Just disappeared.
We do have predators here that REALLY like eating cats. Mostly fishers and Coyotes eat cats, but so do eagles, red tailed hawks and falcons.

Ever wonder what your cat is up to while you’re out on your tractor? Maybe it’s time to install a “nap-cam”.

Action shots of my cat.

Sorry for your loss!

This is our present cat that our granddaughter named Princess. She was **** on wheels when she was a kitty. She would run up and down in the trees like a squirrel. I think she fell off the house one day and that cured her from climbing. She must have used up 8 of her lives because she starts and ends every day cuddling in my lap.

Here she is in the oak tree behind our house.

This is our former dog and cat that our daughter named Wishbone and Precious. Both were loved and sorely missed. Wishbone developed an incurable hip problem and could no longer stand to have her bowel movements. I cried the day I had her put down. Precious was 17 the day he failed to move as my wife backed out and ran over him. She was very sad that day. I have loved every cat and dog I've ever had but I no longer have the patience for dogs.

Here is a funny pic of Precious after he took a dirt bath and wanted to come back in the house. I ended up washing him in the tub and he went out and did the same thing the next day. Our present cat does the same thing but somehow gets all the sand off before she comes in.

I was no a cat lover until one special cow cat adopted me. I chased him off for months but always came back, looked out on freezing day and was on my porch shivering, so threw out an old blanket and he looked so happy. Then one day I gave him some food and he knew he had me hooked. Next day I opened the door in he ran he looked the house over jumped in my lap and purred until he fell asleep. He was mess covered in flees, ear mites, skinny but with most outrageous personality. He expected everybody to love him, I first named him drool because with ear mites problems when her purred he drool on you, took him to vets and he passed all the tests so we got rid of the fleas and went to work on his ears everyday a dose of ear optic. After the ears cleared his eyes stopped watering and he stopped drooling on me and I became so attached I changed his name to Jewel. I really fell in love, put in cat door because he would not use a litter box. He would come running whenever I whistled even if he was outside. About 16 months later I woke from bad dream about him and started whistling and calling no answer, outside at 5am looking and calling, spent days looking even watching for buzzards but no sign, I cried. So I went online to the shelters and found another cow kitty, he was 6 months old and had been returned twice, reason I imagine was he was aloof. He was born in the shelter neuter at 6 weeks and bounced around to various pet shops. He wouldn't look you in the eyes and didn't like being held. He never made a sound. I almost gave up on him too. Instead I just gave more attention, picked him and made him put up with me rubbing him and finally found something he would play with. I happen to shoot a large rubber ban over him across the room and he jumped up and snatched from the air. That broke the ice, one day he brought me the rubber ban and I knew we connected. Then we got talking now 8 years later we are best buddies and every evening he comes and sits next to me and wants me to talk with him. He is a inside only cat!

Angel is 14 yo Siamese. Bought her from a breeder when she was 5 weeks old. White then she got her points.
She went right to wife, then I bought her, but in my lap at night.
We both snore.
Then about midnight off to bed, Angel on back porch.20190113_224913.jpeg20190113_224907.jpeg

I loved my Rottweiler he was regal beast but he loved being outside, I even used to bring to work with me sometimes. But cats are more complicated than dogs, I swear I can see my cat thinking if he going to do as I asked. They also seem to get mad and hold a grudge, when he is acting aloof I carry him around, brush him, clip his nails and clean his ears and he is happy again.

This is a great cat. He sits on the back porch and scans the yard for anything moving then shoots out to investigate, catch, capture anything he can. He is much quicker than he looks.
