I didn't get to see a D-11, but now that I know it exists, it is one my list of things to watch out for.

Since my father has worked in the stip mine industry for several decades, I've had the fortunate opportunity to operate a D-11 for a couple of hours. Man, talk about getting power drunk. There wasn't a tree in the forest where I was that I couldn't push over when I was shown how. Put the blade against the tree a few feet off the ground, pour the power to both tracks and lift on the blade. Pop, and over goes a 100' oak!

My dad even let my wife operate one for a bit. I was following them in a CJ-7 Jeep at the time. She was trying to cut in a new road base. With just a slight over correction with the front blade, she cut a rut so deep as she was going that I couldn't get through it in the Jeep! Cool machines!! I'd love to have one around to do a lot of work at the remote property I own. But, the last I heard, they were just a wee bit out of my price range.

Man O' Man are those military CATS awesome!! :D

Just looking at one makes you think "MAD MAX" or "The Terminator"... :D

That Browning M2 .50 caliber is a nice touch too, no dozer should be without one!

Thomas, are you going out driving in rush hour traffic?:D

Morning Egon.
With that beast rolling down the road I doubt traffic hour would be a problem...or stop lights, signaling for lane chance, road rage. :)

Would-be owners want to know how many gallons of diesel an hour while removing obstacles, and how about someone posting a photo of a D-11?

How do you ship one of those?

I know the D-9s and D-10s break down into at least three pieces so they can be trucked and assembled on-site.

Talk about "some assembly required"...
