Central Vacuum???

I have a eureka (by beam?). Never an issue with anything but the hose end.
At daily+ use, you're going to wear them out. That said, it's the swivel / contacts that are the source of the problem, at least for me.
What's the issue? Won't turn on, or the carpet power head wearing out?

This was my hose replacement. Old hose goes down to the basement....... Still working on finishing the basement......
