Guys, it sounds like your having way too much fun on your tractors. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It sounds like the century would do any thing that I would want to do and then some. Mark

Micropilot, my spring on the clutch also broke but I just welded mine back together and it has held up just fine.

I took the cowling off tonight to see where the spring goes. Couldn't find the hook that broke off. I'm calling my dealer tomorrow to get one ordered.

Is there any danger of harming the tractor by operating it without this spring? The only thing I can see that it does is pull the clutch pedal back to help keep the clutch engaged, or to help keep someone who drives with there foot on the pedal from constantly slipping the clutch.

That's exactly right. I don't think it can harm the tractor.

Just so yall know the C50HL is strong enough to bend the bucket /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif I have a bit of a bow in mine now. I've not yet decided how to fix it other than maybe putting a stump under the bucket and lifting the front of the tractor off the ground while working a couple of sledge hammers /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif It isn't much but just enough to be a little annoying depending on what you are doing.

got a question: I just had the C50HL installed on my Century 3647 and sure have been using it. I noticed though, that the hydraulic hoses on the front arms sort of curve or loop up enough that they are actually higher than the arms. That's not a big deal unless you're lifting something like the logs I was moving and one of them rolls back out of the bucket onto the arms. Then the hose takes the hit instead of the heavy metal arms. I see that there's enough room to route the hoses so they don't do that, but don't know if that's typical. should the hoses be "within" the protection of the arms? Do you think this is just shoddy installation work? If this is confusing, I'll try to take some photos.

okay, that didn't work. The file seems to be 2 megabytes, which I think is too large. Let me try to find a way to make it smaller.
