I think I would be glad those hoses were sticking up. If the hoses did not stop that log, wouldn't it of kept on going hitting your dash and end up landing on your lap crushing you???
Nah, it wasn't up high.
Still, there have been times when it would have been nice to be able to stack logs or beams, which were longer than the bucket, ON those arms, using the bucket to hold them in place.
