i welded two hooks on my fel. first i welded on a 2 x 3 angle at the top of the bucket. the metal on these buckets is pretty thin, and i wanted to make the unit stronger. i used stitch weld, to attach the angle, and then welded the hooks on. these are 11 in off the center, and 22 in apart. i know some people attach theirs on the outside top of the bucket, but i wanted to make the
lift near the center. it has worked very well.

Same thing I did on my B3030 ( had done I must say). When I clamped down tight with a 12 inch crescent wrench and could bend that top lip...I told myself no way in **** was it ever going to work to weld hooks onto!! Mine is welded in 1 inch long welds..every 6 inches...both at the top lip and down on the backside also. I also used stock that was 1/4 inch thick...so Id get no bending. Mine are about 6 inches IN from either side..and I had it done that way so that I can see it easier if Im lifting anything...which I never lift anything really all THAT heavy...just items I cant pickup myself and "drag" somewhere.
Dead center I had a "lug" welded ( 3 cornered piece with a rounded top) and a large enough hole thru it I can attach a clevis with a 5/16's pin...cause I figure ya never know when ya might need one more "hand" to do some job..??
