Hmmm...I will have to look the next time I have it on the bench. Simple enough to check with the cover removed. I sorta just assumed it was half-choke. I have had saws that had a half-choke and saws that didn't.
I know that on mine, if you don't make the right moves you can forget about starting it at all until it sets awhile. I made the mistake the other day of not getting it into the full choke position. No go even after correcting the problem.
