Chain Storage

Here is another variation similar to Pipestone's.

4" pc of PVC cut in half, hose clamped to the loader uprights. My chain bucket wasn't big enuff to hold both chains so I made this setup. The hooks hang on a pc of 2x3" sq tube that is bolted to the upright (and yes the holes were already there). The smaller pc of pvc holds pry bars, long handled monkey wrench, and whatever else won't fit in my toolbox.

Here you go. Excuse the quickie paint job!

Your chain "bucket" is very similar to mine. My design is "pinned" in so I can pull out a pin and pull the entire chain bucket out.

I couldn't get along without my iMatch... with the hyd. top arm. Regularly change off with rotary mower, forks, turbosaw, chipper, ballast box, rear blade, and carry-all. Haven't fitted the rototiller for the iMatch yet, as only mount it one or maybe twice a year.

Now store/carry my chains in the ballast box, but eyeing the other ideas mentioned in this thread. There are some good ones.
