What it lacks is a scarifier. It works best on loose soil, sand or gravel. I originally made it to drag our stone driveway, and it did knock down the high spots and fill in the holes. It made maintaining the driveway an easy chore. By making the two drag chains different lengths, it could be quickly set up to cast the spoils left or right. The edges of the front beam have 4 holes that can be hooked into to make it either more or less aggressive. With the chains in the top holes, it will dig in pretty well, and in the bottom holes it will spread the material out. The one photo showed it being used to spread sand we added to the volleyball court. It was a lot easier to get the sand spread even using it rather than the FEL...................chim
