Neat idea! I've been thinking about how I would make a holder for my chainsaw. I may have to Steal your idea. Thanks,

I finally took some photos of the chainsaw holder that I have mounted to the FEL post on my new Montana. I fabricated it out of aluminum L channel and plastic from a kitchen cutting board. The saw is now always in an out of the way, easy to reach location. It does not rattle at all and the cutting teeth are well protected. Greg

gpd9780, nice job good pics , now all you need to do is get a nice orange Kioti to match that nice orange Husky saw !!

Nice saw J.Walker:thumbsup: I have the 2159. Does yours leak bar oil when it is stored like that? I have been wanting to build a mount for the massey like yours. I have mine stored like that in my shed and noticed it was leaking bar oil down the wall this fall, so I had to angle it almost 45 degrees to get it to stop.

Greg,

...recently my Husky started leaking all the oil ...

If it's a Husqvarna, it leaks oil. Well, my 353 does and dealer tells me (and others) it's the nature of the beast. When I bring it in for the night it get's a diaper.

Great idea for the saw holder. I carry a 353 and a Stihl 460 on the floor boards at my left foot. Alsways gettin in the way. I think there will be a new addition to get rid of that problem. Thanks for the ideas.

My buddy has a holder in his pole barn that's a 5' log sawn thru with the tip of the saw its pretty nifty I'm gonna make one also for my saw.

I made use of this half inch gap on my loader mount, which means easy on easy off, and this also means I'm the last one to show pics. on this ten year old thread, which means I'm the winner, which means I will win a brand new 50hp tractor, I hope it's the right color.

I like the Mad Max "cab"
I became Mad Max after one trip in the woods when I first got my tractor, I got slap side the head, behind the head, side the head, on top the head, when I got back out, too the steel shop I went, 2 days later, l had a Mad max cab, now with both screens down, no limbs can get me.

I went in the woods this past weekend, and this past winter snow bent down a lot of limbs. I just dont see how other people take their tractors in the woods with out getting hit, must be a lot tougher then me.

Ok, I confess. I am going to steal.
Both designs are great.
What's that old saying, (imitation is a form of flattery), I took some half inch oak, planned one piece down 7/16 or less, enough so it would slide in and out easy, in that space on my loader mount, when I accessorize something, I like to make it so it come off, easy-ish.
