Chainsaw not oiling

I have a Stihl MS290 chainsaw and its not oiling the chain.
Is this not something that is an easy fix?
I checked it out and cleaned the hole with the airhose.
I am not really sure how these automatic oilers work?
Can anyone tell me what to do or where to go on the web to find out?

the oil pump on a stihl is cam type direct driven off the crankshaft. they almost NEVER go bad.

there should be a pickup tube with a filter on the end in the oil tank. check to make shure it hasnt fallen off or gotten cloged.

if you take the bar off is it puking oil out of the oilier port if you run the saw? (it should)
