Am I the only one who finds this annoying ?? Is there good reason why a post subject needs to be changed by a reply poster ? If you want to change the subject, shouldn't you start a new post ?

Thank you for the opportunity to rant /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Okay wise guys...go ahead and make multiple subject changes to this post ... just because..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

No.

Yes.

This is particularly annoying when I am rushed and can't spend a lot of time on TBN. I look at the last post column (right most column) to see if a thread I was interested in was updated. (Yes, I know there are other ways to do this. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif) If someone changes the Subject...

If I were king, I would not allow this. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

If I were king alot of things would be different - including this. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

A recent thread I started went from "women dig me, snow FEARS me" to "mines bigger" to "airport runways" /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I'm with you!

There have been numerous comments about this very thing in the past, so the "annoyed club" isn't as small as you might have thought.

I almost posted a flame-off with the change from "Concealed Carry - Good of Bad" to "National Carry Law".

I don't like it either. I think the subject line should be fixed. How about a sub-title line for those posters who want to take the thread in another direction (aka "hijack")?

I gotta admit -- it throws me off a little, too. Especially since I browse in "Past 24 Hours" mode. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I'm with you guys, I use the 24 hr mode as well and this makes it frustrating to follow a thread.

I like the idea of a hijack sub line.

Well, for once I'm not the idiot standing out in the rain !!!

I was really thinking I'd get bashed for whining about that, but I guess many of us have issue with it.

Hey Muhammad, when you get a minute /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Is this something that should be looked into ???
